Aim:	Students will learn aspects related with human nature including superstitions, personal problems and telepathy.
Objectives:	During the unit, students will develop ability and knowledge necessary to: a.      Learn how to express criticism, possibility and certainty in the past. b.      Talk about various aspects of modern life together with technology, fashion and devices. c.       Learn how to express opinion and justify it. d.      Learn how to write a letter expressing opinion and a letter / e-mail asking for information e.      Acquire skill and strategies that help students in exams.
Content :	a.      Thematic aspects: ·         People ·         Relationships ·         Health ·         Superstitions ·         Telepathy   b.      Linguistic content: ·         Grammar: §  Conditional sentences (type 3). §  Wishes and unreal past §  All/both/neither/ either/ none/nor   ·         Vocabulary: §  Phrases/expressions with most and least §  Idioms §  Lexical set (parts of the body) §  Words easily confused §  Phrasal verbs c.       Skills focus: ·         Reading: §  Four short texts about superstitions §  A magazine article about telepathy between twins ·         Listening: §  A telephone conversation between a girl and her aunt §  People talking about their horoscopes §  People talking in different situations   ·         Speaking: §  Discussion problems – asking for and giving advice §  Speculating and making a decision (choosing with books to read) ·         Writing: §  A letter giving advice §  A book review
The process:	Tasks for week 1: ·         Students will write letters from a magazine problem page ·         Students will read texts about various superstitions people have Task for week 2: ·         Students will blurb from several novels ·         Students will listen a  conversation between two friends Tasks for week 3 ·         Students will have book review ·         Students will read a magazine article about telepathy between twins
Final task (for the end of unit):	Students will work together in collaboration in groups of 3-5 students. Students will present and explain the parts of the human body on bond paper to the class.
